Triumph’s Bonneville Street Twin is a retro-looking motorcycle with improved performance and maneuverability. Redesigning the Bonneville was a huge undertaking for Triumph, costing the company large amounts of both time and money, but after four years, Triumph succeeded and the Street Twin is the result of all that patience and hard work.
The Street Twin is a reconfigured, more accessible version of its classic predecessor, the original Triumph Bonneville that was introduced in 1958. This new version has kept all of the appeal and style of the old bike, but with improved performance, comfort and maneuverability, it is built to impress and appeal to both the old traditionalists and a new breed of Triumph riders.
The Street Twin employs ride by wire technology with traction control, however does not offer road maps. New suspension provided with a Kayaba telescopic fork in front and a twin sided swing arm behind coupled with Nissin 2-piston floating caliper brakes with ABS give the bike a nimble, solid feel. The torque-assist clutch is light and responsive without being grabby, making it very user-friendly. The liquid-cooling system not only allows for cleaner emissions, but increases the fuel economy, making the Street twin thirty-six percent better than the previous generation Bonneville.
The Street Twin is designed to appeal to everyone and looking at it, you can see how it will. With the beautiful, vintage style that makes all Triumph models stand out from the crowd, this bike will please new riders and old, women and men. A low seat height of only 29.5” ensures that nearly everyone will be able to place both feet solidly on the ground, hence making riders feel confident and safe. The Street Twin has cast wheels, finished in black; compact headlight with Triumph bulb cap badge; chrome locking filler cap; brushed stainless steel exhausts, USB charging socket and stripped back styling. With its beautiful retro style, this Bonneville guarantees positive responses from riders and admirers who appreciate the old school feel and profile of Triumph motorcycles.
